Health Services provided by Newton-Wellesley Collegiate Health

Medical services at Wellesley College are provided by Newton-Wellesley Hospital. Providers at Health Services are employees of the hospital whose sole job is to take care of the student body. Students have access to all of the resources (specialists, ER/urgent care, medical record, on-call services, COVID care etc.) of the Mass General Brigham System and Newton-Wellesley Hospital!

We are open 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday 

What if I need something when Health Services is Closed?

Call our office! 781 -283-2810

24/7 access to a provider to answer medical questions

-You will first speak with the answering service to provide your basic information/reason for the call

-A provider will return your call within 20-30 minutes and advice

-The on-call providers can see your medical records and can easily communicate with Health Services so we can follow up. 

Note: please use our after hours service only for medical issues that cannot wait until the following business day. Please do not call for routine matters such as refills, scheduling appointments, forms, etc. The on-call providers will NOT be able to help with this. 

 

*For any medical emergencies that cannot wait for a call back, call Campus Police or 911 immediately.

Nearly everything! Think of us as a surrogate for your regular doctor.
